About the event
The evening will begin at 6.30 pm, with admission only from 6.15pm. Tom Johnston, Rouge Croix Pursuivant of Arms, will run through his initial design for our potential new coat of arms and talk through the process. You can have your say on how it looks! There will be a tour where three rooms are shown: the Earl Marshal’s Court, the Waiting Room and the Record Room. Tom will explain the history of heralds, heraldry and the College of Arms, discussing its present activities, and showing the party a wide selection of some of its most interesting manuscripts. At about 8pm the party would move back to the Waiting Room for refreshments, which usually take the form of sandwiches, cakes and wine.
