Tour of Westminster 'Digital' Abbey

The Company has arranged a private tour for members to Westminster Abbey on Tuesday 27 May starting at 6.30pm, kindly organised by Adrain Harris the Head of Communications and Digital at the Abbey. It will also be a unique occasion to visit the Media Centre at the Abbey that transmits and televises State ceremonies such as the Coronation, Royal Weddings and Funerals, and other major events. 

The format for the evening will be:-

• Evensong for those who wish to attend at 4.30pm

• Tour from 6.00pm for up to 60 members of the Company of Communicators, with Dr Tony Trowles, Head of the Abbey Collection and Librarian, leading the tour.

• An update on the Digital Abbey programme and our internal/external communications priorities – introduced by Tony, a short presentation from Adrain and Q&A. 

• Drinks and nibbles reception from 6.45pm in a section of the cloister.
