On Monday 9th December four more members of the Communicators Company received their Freedom of the City of London. The Communicators lucky enough to receive their Freedoms were - Gordon Adams, Catherine Cashmore, Chris Martin and Ben Steele. They were joined by friends and family, with the Clerk Dr Ian Wingfield in attendance. The Deputy Clerk to the Chamberlain's Office at the Guildhall, Tiphaine Le Bian, welcomed them all with a their certificates, a copy of the book 'Rules for the Conduct of Life' and the words 'I give you Joy'! It is a prerequisite to becoming a Worshipful Company that members must apply for the Freedom of the City in order to become Liverymen of the Company.
