Jason Groves Installed as New Master Communicator
The Company of Communicators is delighted to announce that Jason Groves has been officially installed as the new Master Communicator at a black-tie dinner at Trinity House on Friday.
In his address, Jason outlined his vision for the year ahead, with the theme “Communicators, value creators.” He emphasised the vital role that communications play in the UK economy and expressed his commitment to fostering fellowship among members while guiding the Company toward achieving full Worshipful status in the near future.
The evening’s entertainment featured an inspiring performance by tenor Ruairi Bowen and a captivating reading of A Christmas Carol by acclaimed actor Simon Callow CBE. The event’s keynote speaker, Ian Thomas CBE, Chief Executive and Town Clerk of the City of London Corporation, also gave an engaging speech.
Earlier that evening, a new Court was sworn in:
Justine McGuinness as Senior Warden
Jon McLeod as Middle Warden
Patricia Hamzahee as Junior Warden

Andrew McConnell
The event welcomed an esteemed gathering of Masters and Prime Wardens from several Worshipful Companies: the Grocers, Dyers, Poulters, Stationers and Newspaper Makers, Glaziers, Chartered Accountants, Insurers, Parish Clerks, and Security Professionals. Also in attendance was Erick Gustafson, Chief Public Affairs Officer of Marsh McLennan, the sponsors of the event.
The Master thanked Vivien Gainsborough Foot, widow of the Company’s inaugural Master, Ric Gainsborough Foot, for her generous contribution to the new Master’s robes.
